Bungoma County Governor Kenneth Lusaka on presided over the issuance of licenses in Bumula, an event that was hosted by Hon.Otsiula, the area MP. The event amassed a great audience of boda boda riders from the county. Lusaka issued 400 licenses to the boda boda operators. He urged them to be vigilant due to the increased cases of insecurity.
The boda boda operators commended the governor for his continued support but were quick to site few challenges among them insecurity,poor infrastructure and funding. Lusaka assured them that he will work on the matter with urgency.
Earlier during the day, Governor Lusaka signed an MOU with Kenya National Chambers of Commerce and Industry at the county headquarters.The MOU gives authority to KNCCI to organize an investors conference in the county scheduled for April this year.
