Akaranga improves education infrastructure in Vihiga

Vihiga County Governor officially opened ECD classrooms at Chavugami and Womulalu primary schools in Central Maragoli ward, Vihiga sub county. The county Government has constructed 2 modern ECD classrooms per school across the county. This is in line with the governor’s promise of improving and upholding education standards in Vihiga county.

Governor Akaranga then proceeded to donate cheques of KShs 500,000 each to Womulalu Special School, Moses Akaranga Training Centre and Womulalu Secondary school.

In attendance at the events were Deputy Governor Hon Caleb Amaswache, Central Maragoli MCA Abdalla Chogo, Cabinet Executive Commettee Members, CECs in charge of Education Musalia Edebe, CECM in charge of Public Service and Administration Halima Abdi, CECM in charge of Water Tom Kisia among other county and national government officials.

The governor later opened Vihiga Health Centre after renovations by the county government.
